Orvco or Off Road Vehicle Company.

I started in 1975 building a light vehicle for farmers with exceptional stability and wet weather traction.

The Walking Beam Tandem drive combined with the flotation tyres made the good traction and ride and its weight helped lower the centre of gravity. The vehicles were made until 1987.

Subsequently I made a small wooden jet boat, two stroke engines and then recycling machinery. This included Baling presses, plastic granulators, a PET washing and drying plant and a glass bottle crushing and screening system.

I ran a machine shop during this time making and repairing many parts including Hydraulic rams. I started on the Telescopic rams for a horizontal baling press to make the machine more compact.
